Flanges are pressure-retaining components: a defect does not cause inconvenience, it causes a leak of something hot, toxic or flammable. Forging eliminates the porosity path that makes cast flanges unacceptable in most piping codes.

Sealing Face Quality
Raised face serrations are machined to the specified finish because gasket seating depends on that controlled roughness. Too smooth and the gasket slips; too rough and it leaks. Ring joint grooves are machined and gauge verified where specified.
Material Certification
Carbon steel A105, alloy F11 and F22, and stainless F304 and F316 are supplied with EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates, heat number marking and, where the client requires, third-party inspection.
