Strength Without Quenching

Small vanadium or niobium additions precipitate fine carbonitrides during controlled cooling, delivering 800–1000 MPa tensile directly from forging heat. No quench means no quench distortion and no straightening operation.

Controlled Cooling Is the Process

The cooling rate on the conveyor is the heat treatment. Too fast and toughness suffers; too slow and precipitation is incomplete. We control conveyor speed and air flow as a documented process parameter, not as an ambient condition.
