Forged Wheel Hubs

A wheel hub carries vertical load, cornering side force and braking torque through its bearing seats. Runout at the flange face translates directly into brake judder and uneven tyre wear, so dimensional discipline matters as much as strength.

Hub Diameter
120 mm – 450 mm
Weight Range
3 kg – 45 kg
Materials
SAE 1045, EN8, EN19
Bearing Seat Tolerance
±0.02 mm

Trucks, trailers, tractors, buses

Bearing Seats and Runout

Inner and outer bearing seats are machined in one setup so they stay coaxial, and flange face runout is measured on every setup change. This is the difference between a hub that runs quietly for a decade and one that returns as a warranty claim.

  • Coaxial bearing seats, single setup
  • Flange face runout controlled
  • Stud hole pattern to PCD drawing
  • Balanced material distribution
02

Stud Holes and Mounting Interface

Stud hole pattern, PCD and pilot diameter are machined to the wheel specification and gauge verified. Hole edges are chamfered so stud seating is repeatable when the wheel is torqued in service.

Material and Duty

SAE 1045 and EN8 normalised suit trailer duty; alloy grades quenched and tempered are used where axle loads and braking energy are higher.

Can you drill stud holes to our PCD?

+

Yes, stud pattern, PCD and pilot diameter are machined to your drawing and gauge checked.

What weight range do you cover?

+

3 kg to 45 kg finished hub weight.

Do you supply hubs with studs pressed in?

+

Stud pressing can be included in the supply scope on request.
