Through-Section Deformation
A press stroke of controlled speed keeps the metal plastic for longer, so strain penetrates fully through heavy sections. On flange and hub-type parts above 60 mm thickness this is the difference between uniform properties and a soft, coarse-grained core.

Quieter, Safer, Better for Die Life
Presses transmit far less shock into the foundation and the tooling. Die life on press-forged production commonly runs two to three times longer than the equivalent hammer die, and the working environment is markedly quieter.
