Forged Yokes, Levers & Brackets
Levers, yokes and brackets transmit force through awkward geometry — offset arms, forked ends, angled bosses. Forging produces those shapes near-net with grain following the load path, which fabrication and casting both struggle to match.

Geometry That Fabrication Handles Badly
A welded bracket has a heat-affected zone exactly where the arm meets the base — the highest stress location. A forged bracket has continuous material there instead, which is why fatigue-loaded brackets migrate to forging as volumes grow.
- No weld or heat-affected zone
- Grain follows the load path
- Near-net arms and bosses
- Consistent piece-to-piece geometry
Forked and Clevis Ends
Fork arms are forged with grain running out into each arm and a strong root fillet, then machined for pin bore alignment. Bore coaxiality across the fork determines whether the pin loads evenly or binds.
Machining to Drawing
Pin bores, mounting faces, threaded holes and clamping slots are finished on our VMC and turning cells, with fixtures built to hold forged datums repeatably.

Questions Answered
Why forge a bracket instead of fabricating it?
+
Fabrication puts a weld heat-affected zone at the highest-stress junction. Forging keeps material continuous there, giving better fatigue life and consistent geometry.
Can you hold bore alignment across a fork?
+
Yes, fork bores are machined in one setup so coaxiality is inherent.
What is the volume threshold for forging to beat fabrication?
+
Usually a few thousand pieces a year, at which point the die cost is repaid by lower per-piece labour and better performance.
Do you supply painted brackets?
+
Yes, shot blasted and painted or plated to your specification.
